Employees are Eddie Edwards Signs’ most valuable resource, and their health and safety is, therefore,
a serious concern. It is the policy of Eddie Edwards Signs to prevent substance use or abuse from
having an adverse effect on our employees and the safety of our workplace. Eddie Edwards Signs
maintains that the work environment is safer and more productive without the presence of illegal drugs
or inappropriate over-the-counter or prescription medications in the body or on company property.
Furthermore, employees have a right to work in a drug-free environment and to work with persons free
from the effects of drugs. Employees who use drugs are a danger to themselves, co-workers, and
Eddie Edwards Signs’ assets.
The adverse impact of substance-abusing employees has been recognized by the federal government.
Eddie Edwards Signs is committed to maintaining a drug-free workplace as required by the Drug-Free

continued employment with Eddie Edwards Signs, Inc. Any violation of this prohibition will result in
appropriate disciplinary action which may include termination of employment.

ensure fairness to each individual. Every effort will be made to maintain the dignity of employees or
applicants involved. Disciplinary action will, however, be taken as necessary.
